Purpose
We’re transitioning to a new giving platform to make giving simpler, more unified, and easier to manage.
If you currently give through Tithe.ly, this guide will help you:
- Cancel your existing recurring gift in Tithe.ly
- Set up a new recurring gift in Planning Center Giving
STEP 1: Cancel Your Existing Recurring Gift in Tithe.ly
- Go to https://give.tithe.ly/login and login to your account
- Click on your profile or account settings
- Navigate to the “Recurring Giving” page
- DESKTOP: Top Navigation Icon

- MOBILE: Tap the Menu Icon on top-right

- Select your active recurring gift
- Click Edit → Cancel (or Stop Recurring Gift)
- Confirm cancellation
- You should receive an email confirmation of the canceled recurring giving at the associated email address tied to your Tithe.ly account.
- If you have any questions or issues with canceling your recurring gift, please contact finance@metrophilly.org and we will be happy to assist you.
STEP 2: Start Recurring Giving in Planning Center (PCO)
- Go to https://metro.churchcenter.com/giving
- Login to your Planning Center account or create one if you don’t have one
- Navigate to the Give page
- Enter the amount
- Choose the fund/campus (you can add multiple if you’d like to include your Advance Campaign giving as well in one shot)
- Set the frequency
- Add your payment method (Bank Transfer ACH has the lowest fees at 0% and $0.30/transaction)
- Click the Give Button to finalize the Recurring Giving setup
STEP 3: Download the Church Center App
- On your mobile device, click this link to download the Church Center App https://metro.churchcenter.com/setup or scan the QR code here:

- Easily access your serving schedule, giving history (coming soon),and other resources here.
