"Jesus didn’t just save individuals and send them off to figure out life on their own. He formed a people to gather around his Word and his table, and then he sent them out into the world to advance his gospel."

True rest, true contentment, cannot be earned through our hard work and sacrifice. Everything good in our lives that we receive is freely given to us by sheer grace.
